Sisters On Assignment is a ministry of Declaring His Answer Ministries Int'l, a 501c3 organization established in 2007. DHAMinistries' God-given mission has been and continues to be to form a community of women interested in co-laboring for the advancement of Christ's Kingdom. The vision has been that we would accomplish this mission by utilizing media and online technology as well as live and online conferencing. Sisters On Assignment has evolved from their beginnings as WOW "Women Online Worldwide" Video Platform launched in January of 2008 as a division of Break Through University online School.
The SOA Story
Sarah Goebel had the vision in 2007 to bring together a community of women for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God in the hearts of women around the globe. Broadcasting messages from one place on the web using an online video player was a major part of the vision.
She applied for a 501c3 non profit status in order to be able to give that benefit to those who would help in the expense of launching the ministry. She received her letter from the IRS and she went to work for a web designer.
A web designer was hired to develop a site designed to carry Sarah's vision through. While the site was in process, Sarah and her team of ladies began recording their messages. The WOW (Women Online Worlwide) Video Platform was finally launched as one of two platforms to be launched through the new Break Through University where women would reach women using online technology. The media platform began asking for those who watched to consider leaving a love offering.
This platform was to be accessible by the public.
VICTORY Break Through University was the first online women to women teaching platform launched by DHAMinistries. BTU utilized video players to play the messages of a group of faith filled women and ministry leaders. Video bible studies for soul care issues such as divorce, grief, sexual and physical abuse, strongholds and more made up a second school within the BTU community called the "Soul Care School." We still have these classes available upon request and there is a small fee involved to cover teaching and materials. We have now changed the name of all these efforts, Sisters On Assignment. You can visit the classes available in the Soul Care School at www.declaringhisanswer.com.
Sarah also launched an online radio program and met women she planned to introduce to the web video platform later in 2009. As 2009 approached, the decision was made to change the name from WOW video platform to it's current name. When "Sisters On Assignment.tv" dropped into her spirit, she knew that was the right name as it spoke of her heart for initimate relationship with God's women as her spiritual sisters related by our adoption into the family of God. Sarah's heart is to do the assignment God has given her and help other women to do the same.
Sisters On Assignment speaks of sisters out to do their Father's business. We are sisters on assignment from God with a purpose to glorify Christ by advancing His life in the lives of others. Our purpose is not to acquire a big name but to lift the name of Jesus! Our purpose is not to find value, we already know we are valued. Our hearts are knit together in this purpose to glorify our Father and advance His kingdom in the hearts of women around the world!!! We are sisters who love our Father and Lord Jesus Christ and are dedicated to lift His name and share His love with others in our families, workplaces and churches!
God led Sarah that in order to have an instant increase in traffic count, she should place the ladies messages on other platforms besides this one. She has actively sought out other viable platforms to introduce her sisters to both those that are free and those that offer good opportunity for traffic at a minimal cost. Rather than seeing these platforms as competition, her heart is to introduce women to every opportunity that might increase their ministry exposure.
Sarah is here to serve you and your ministries. In addition to web platforms, she will help you by introducing you to resources for web design and other promotion tools. We are on assignment to advance the kingdom in the hearts and lives of people around the world. We plan to use every genuine Christian resource and platform that is available to us as well as secular platforms where someone unsaved may stumble across our programs. There's so many people still to be reached.
God has given us to date has given us great platforms. Some free and some at a minimal cost. We would love to have you join us.
For phase 3 of our expansion, we are planning a certificate school for women. Be on the watch out for more about this opportunity. We are excited about it's possiblities and are looking for those women who will want to be a part of the school.
We hope you will consider joining us as a viewer or a broadcaster, on the Sisters On Assignment Network. Please register while you are on this site to join our mailing list to stay abreast of our ministry advancement. You can sign in on our Guest Book and ask to be added to the email list.
